Quick Review

Running successfully in its third generation, the all new BMW X5 seems to have hit the gym properly when compared to its previous avatar. With sharp contour lines all around and a more aggressive stance, sitting at the top of BMW’s SUV lineup, X5 appears to be a serious contender in the luxury SUV segment. Following the latest design philosophy from BMW, it remains quite dynamic on the outside. With razor sharp bonnet creases running parallel along the corner, it offers that sporty stance to its extended bonnet that runs onto the BMW badge sitting at the top. With a revamped façade, its front kidney grille with multiple chrome slats is now connected with the headlight cluster which offers a refreshed and aggressive look. The sweptback xenon headlamps with LED daytime running rings compliment the sporty stance at the front. Use of brushed aluminum at the front bumper further makes it more upmarket as well. Air dams at the front along with a front skid plate and fine cut brushed aluminum lines at the corners makes the X5 more distinct. Move onto the side and it manifests a proper SUV stance with raised wheel arches with minimal black cladding along with a sharp character line running from the tail lights highlighting the length of this SUV.

Going for the M sport variant, you also get huge 19 inch double spoke M-light alloy wheels that makes the overall package more attractive. Appointment of integrated roof rails and a shark fin antenna brands an urban SUV image to the drive instead of a proper off-roader. The rear however has been kept quite rugged and elegant at the same time without using too much accessories. Its newly appointed L shaped split LED tail lights are quite attractive and it carries that distinct look onto the sides as well with its wraparound design. The sliding roofline merging into a roof spoiler at the back hints that coupe styling which is well complimented by raised creases on the tail gate. The all black cladding on the rear bumper proudly adorns chrome tipped dual exhausts along with a rear skid plate that beefs up the overall look from the back as well. For the enthusiast in you, BMW also offers its additional M sport package which includes additional accessories such as an aerodynamic kit, M badge at the front, door sill strip and an exclusive tailpipe cover in chrome as well.
