GLC

Wrapup

GLC is available with an option of petrol trim which its immediate competition lacks. The excellent refinement, composed dynamics and a comfortable cabin all make up to typical Mercedes Benz traits and coupled with strong presence of SUV, it's sure to take its segment by storm. 9 speed automatic is standard so is the All wheel Drive System that assists in widening GLC's appeal.

Quick Review

Finally after being watchful, Mercedes-Benz enters compact premium SUV segment and ticks all right boxes right from first glance at this beauty. GLC a sibling of C class sedan, replaces GLK worldwide, though GLK was never offered in Right hand drive markets and was a rare flop product from Merc but its totally different story with GLC which already singing success chorus competing against mighty BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Currently, its full import model i.e. CBU making it expensive affair to own. GLC has dimension of -- Length 4656mm, Width 1890mm and Height 1639mm which rolls on 18"inch alloy wheels having 2873mm of wheelbase. It has 181mm ground clearance which can be raised to 227mm for going off-roading. Looking from head on its bold chrome strips holding adaptive LED head-lamps having LED DRL's too with big air-dams underneath it makes very bold statement yet maintaining its pinch of maturity and elegance to hold badge of 3 stars on its chest. It has excellent premium looking rear holding LED tail-lamps and big rear windscreen with twin exhaust at bottom to make it look more sportier but it should be noted that twin exhaust is fake for diesel variant as its tucked under the body on left side. Prominent chrome plated skid plates on sides and excellent flow lines right from chest to rear gives pleasing looks. On the top it has large black panoramic roof and has GEMTEX for under ride protection and aluminium running boards. All these have just enhanced GLC's personality and great competitor.
