Datsun will launch the Go Cross on 18th January 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia. The manufacturer has released a teaser image of the car before unveiling it. It'll be known as 'Cross' instead of 'Go Cross'.
At front, it will come with projector headlights with LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and large fog lamps with muscular bumper. The upcoming car is not too different from the concept model revealed earlier last year. It contains three-quarter styling black body cladding with silver detailing. While at rear, it'll be equipped a roof spoiler and wiper.
On the inside, cabin will be equipped with the features like power windows with up/down function for the driver side window, electrically adjusted exterior mirrors, rear defogger and manual air conditioning. It'll have a 3rd row but the last row seat, like Go+, would be comfortable only for short adults and kids.
The Indonesian Cross is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 68 HP and 104 Nm of peak torque. The power unit is paired with five-speed manual as standard while CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) might be available in future. Safety-wise, it'll be equipped with front airbags, ABS (Anti-locking Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and BA (Brake Assist).
Datsun Cross will lock horn against Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and the newly launched Tata Nexon.
